Pilot Season

So, this is my first official year in pilot season and it's nuts. In March, I will have been in L.A. 2 years. I didn't get into the season last year for 2 reasons. One, I was moving into a new place (after just getting here a few months before) and getting settled away from a roommate situation (and not the type of Situation from Jersey Shore) and secondly, I was cautioned so much against the casting director workshops that I think it made me paranoid. But I've since been fully educated on the process and I'm work-shopping like crazy this year on top of my normal schedule. I tell ya, I'm looking forward to a trip to Vegas in March when it's all said and done. Fo sho.

So I was pretty bummed about the whole Tonight Show debacle.  I like Conan and as a comedian I was hoping Jay would be the bigger man and step aside graciously to respect the legacy of that show.  And as for NBC, when I was a little girl I used to say "One day I want to work for the peacock."  Well, here's my current state of mind...

You know -- after going over to someone else's home today and seeing how they make their dog stay outside shivering in the cold, windy rain without a doghouse I realized something -- I take darn good care of my boy.  Or maybe it means I spoil him rotten.  Either way, he's dry and warm.  Check it out....

In Rare Form @ M.i.'s Westside Comedy Theater

Hello All!
We are so happy to announce that our improv group, In Rare Form, will be performing a spot onSaturday, February 6th at M.i.'s Westside Comedy Theatre at the 3rd St. Promenade in Santa Monica! This is a huge opportunity for us and we'd greatly appreciate you coming out and showing your support. Tickets are $10 and our show willl run from 10:30-11:30PM. There is a standup show that night as well that starts at 8PM if you'd like to watch that too in order to get your laughs warmed up for us :) Feel free to bring any family and friends who enjoy good laughs. The promenade offers many restaurants and shops to enjoy before the show as well.

The theatre is located at:
1323-A 3rd Street Prominade, Santa Monica, CA 90401. (In the alley between 3rd & 4th.)
Parking:
Parking Garage S3 (Structure Three, whose entrance is on 4th Street just north of Santa Monica Blvd). Parking is $3.00 Flat rate after 6:00pm everyday. They recommend parking in Structure 3, as it is closest to the theater.

The Jon Lovitz Comedy Club

Hey kids!  Good news, I've added a date or two for comedy shows.  First, I'll be performing in the Up & Comers Show, Saturday 1/16/10 at 6:00 at the new Jon Lovitz Comedy Club at Universal CityWalk at Universal Studios Hollywood.  Check out their site at Jon Lovitz Comedy Club for more info.

There is also a new show that has just started at Cozy's Bar & Grill in Sherman Oaks, CA on Ventura Blvd.  It's every Wednesday night at 8:30 and I plan on popping in there on a regular basis including this Wed, Jan 13th.  So stop on by if you're close and I'll see you there!

January Comedy Shows
