BERNEE's a Hit!!!

hey guys. Bernee's a hit! We just kicked off the film festival circuit for "Bernee" in Huntington, WV and Galax, VA and it was great. Our movie took third place for feature length movies in the WV fest and yours truly won best actress for the VA fest. We logged in over a thousand miles in three days but man what a weekend. I look forward to another one!

Great News!!!

hey guys, great news! BERNEE, the movie I did last year, has been called upon to kick off a film festival in Virginia on April 19th; and I will be in attendance. I hope this will be the first of many festivals for BERNEE as she is a fun-lovin' gal who loves a good party. The new film that I am in is titled DESPERATE IN DIXIE based on a chick who is trying to find her way in life. She dates a few crazies on the way and eventually decides to continue her dream of acting. sound like anybody you guys know? I'll keep you posted on this one as well.

Also, I just got back from South Carolina, where I was born and raised. Had a little quality time with the fam and played in a college alumni soccer game. I'm lucky I didn't seriously injure someone (myself I mean). My sister is pregnant and we found out it's gonna be a boy. Ya-hoo. To say my brother-in-law was excited would be an understatement.

And last but not least, I've got a couple of comedy shows coming up. ZANIES in Nashville, TN this Wednesday (3/28) @ 7:30 PM and THE BELCOURT THEATER in Nashville, TN on April 13th @ 8 PM. Please come out and support live comedy. There's nothing like it.

Gutbuster Comedy Show - Hendersonville

I'm "Desperate"

Hey guys. Well, things have been nuts the last week. I MC'd a show at ComedyTN in Memphis on the 18th and the club was great! A big holla to those guys. Then I did a showcase set at Bongo Java on the 20th. thanks to Rik for putting that together. Today I got back into the movie business if you will. I have the leading role in another independent feature film titled "Desperate In Dixie." We began shooting today and it went smooth as chunky peanut butter so I'm looking forward to the next few months. :)

"Desperate" is about a young woman (me!) who attempted acting as a career, became frustrated with her lack of success and came home to question her life. Everyone suggested she should get married and have babies for happiness so she spends the better part of the movie dating one guy after the other. She finally realizes that she must find happiness within herself before she can move on in any part of her life. I'm not going to tell you the ending because you may very well say "No way, Heather is playing this role?!"
